Have you made your lists and checked them twice? Do you have your holiday season activities and events written on your calendar? Scheduled your cookie baking? Recorded your various church and club activities?
Well – now its time to grab a cup of coffee and take a deep breath. Sit down and clear your head.
What is the ONE thing – more than anything else – that you want for Christmas?
Is it a gift that you can unwrap on Christmas morning with squeals of delight? That one thing that you want or need more than anything else?
That piece of jewelry, a new Bible, new clothes or shoes, a new small appliance for your kitchen?
Is it a less tangible gift – maybe something you can feel?
Peace amidst the scurry of activity and get togethers during the holiday season? Time with family or friends whom you may or may not have seen for too long? Contentment despite difficult circumstances or trials of life? Restoration of a relationship?
Whatever it is – I’d love to see what’s at the top of your list.
Please share your #1 item on your Christmas wish list…
