Tonight we are having a Christmas Tea for our ladies at church.
VERY EXCITING!
I’ve been collecting teapots, tea cups and other tea paraphernalia for over a decade. My first teapot was a gift from a good friend at Christmas. I loved Victorian anything – and she was thoughtful enough to give me a beautiful white teapot with burgundy and pink roses. Lovely.
We’ll be having a guest speaker who is also a beautiful singer – so it will be a sort of Christmas Tea Concert – really lovely.
Tea is just one of those soothing things I treat myself to. Whether its a brisk cup of Earl Grey in the morning (with milk and sweetener), or a special cup of Cranberry Orange during the holidays, I find myself turning to tea just about as often as I turn to coffee…
