Works for Me Wednesday: Joyful Noise Cafe
By CoffeeMom | November 18, 2009
Many mornings, we’ve got Nick Jr on at our house. Some mornings it’s the news – but it is often so full of “yuk” that I actually prefer to watch “Ni-hao, Kai-lan” or “Blues Clues.” But recently I discovered “Joyful Noise Cafe” on Gospel TV. It’s part of our DirecTV package – and I love it.
Music videos with a few interviews and background info on our favorite Christian songs and artists.
What a beautiful way to start every day. Beautiful praise and worship – or foot-tapping ballads that get me moving through my house and starting my day off right. No investment in CDs (that eventually get lost in my house). no extra equipment in the living room. Just great praise music from my TV that can be heard throughout my house.
The best part is when my 4 year old says, “Mom – I want to hear ‘God You Reign’” and then listening to her belt it out at the top of her lungs.
And THAT works for ME Wednesday! (and every day for that matter!)

what a wonderful way to start the day! Puts joy in your heart and on your lips too!
We do morning devotions and even our toddler seems to like them. I love that!
Swing by today if you get the chance. I host a blog carnival each Thursday about JOY — I bet you have a lot of that!
