Mommies Coffee Break

I’ve got an email subscription to Breaking Christian News. In today’s email it talked about sharing our Faith in schools. The governor of Texas signed a bill allowing kids the freedom to express their religious points of view. I was thrilled. Now the kids don’t have to worry about being sent to the principal’s office because they share their faith with other kids. I wish that many other states would do the same. Kids should be free to share their faith at school just like adults should be free to share their faith at work. We have to listen to and be tolerant of other religions but yet they are not willing to be tolerant to Christianity. It’s like a double standard. 

I have to pray sometimes that God just keeps my attitude in check and I have jokingly said that I am going to run for a public office. LOL  I mean we need good Godly people willing to stand up for our freedoms of being able to share our faith with others in public places.

Thank you Lord, for sending good Godly people to run our National Government and our State and Local Governments. I thank you Lord that you are causing people to rise up and step into their calling. Lord I believe you have called people to step into Politics to stand up for Biblical issues and stand up for Morality. I thank you Lord that you are preparing and protecting these people. That you are setting them in the right places to help protect our freedoms. Lord we know this country was founded on you. With people trying to escape religious persecution so that they could worship You freely. Lord open peoples hearts to the importance of voting and politics. Lord show them why they need to let their voice be heard. Thank you Lord for this country. Thank you for our leaders currently in office. We have some good leaders in office right now and some not so good, however, You can change hearts. You can change lives. We thank You Lord for allowing us to live in this blessed country where we are free. Please help us to protect those freedoms.  We love you Lord. AMEN!!

Please keep praying for our leaders on national, state and local levels.
